Putting more "Green-ery" into Christmas by Erin Flett

_We know it’s coming. It happens every year. The early Christmas morning chaos of opening presents, oohs, aahs, “thank you’s,” and “you shouldn’t have’s” are over and you gaze upon pile after pile of rumpled wrapping paper, forlorn bows, and glitter scattered all around the room. What is it about French women and scarves?

_ That’s the question Kerrie Hess asked herself shortly after she moved to Paris. Is that je ne sais quoi sense of chic passed down from mother to daughter as part of some time-honored ritual, or are they just (as Lady Gaga would say) “born that way”?  So taken was she with the myriad ways the women of France effortlessly don those gorgeous squares of silk that Kerrie was inspired to recreate her favorite Parisian fashion memories on a series of scarf designs.  Here are two of our favorites from the collection.


It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Is it just us, or does the coutdown to the holiday season get shorter every year? It seems we've barely woken up from our post-Thanksgivng dinner nap only to find the Christmas tree being placed in its stand.
